Terms of Service

These terms apply to Snakk, run by Giovanni Piunno (Norway). By creating an account you accept them and the Privacy Policy.

The service

Snakk helps you learn Norwegian with notes, exercises and AI assistance. You need an account with a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.

AI answers can be wrong

AI output (translations, corrections, explanations, exercises) may contain mistakes. It is a study aid, not an authoritative source or professional advice. Check important things with a teacher or a reliable source.

Credits, plan and extra credits

• AI features use credits. New verified accounts get a one-time amount of starter credits (one per person).
• Plus plan: 30 NOK per month, renewed automatically every month until you cancel. While it is active you receive 250 credits every day. Plan credits reset every day and do not accumulate.
• Extra credits (packs) can be bought at any time, do not expire while your account exists, and are used after the plan's daily credits. They are separate from the plan.
• Prices include the taxes the payment provider must collect. We may change prices or the daily amount with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
• To keep the service available we may apply fair-use limits (for example a maximum number of requests per day) and temporary limits when demand is very high.

Cancelling

You can cancel the plan at any time from the subscription portal linked in Settings → AI Credits. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for. You must cancel an active plan before you can delete your account. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no automated access, no attempts to bypass limits or create accounts to collect free credits, no sharing of your account, no unlawful content, no attempts to harm the service or other users. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and remove their credits.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you write. You give us permission to store it and send it to our processors only to provide the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Snakk available but it is provided "as is" and may be interrupted. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will notify you of important changes. These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence. Questions: support@snakknorsk.app.
